That was quick! The Zenvolution Japan event has come and gone but we have the Zenfone 3 details. There are going to be three models initially, with a promise to have the Zenfone 3 Ultra later this year. We do not know about the Max or Laser models at this time.
Prices:
Zenfone 3 Deluxe with Snapdragon 821, 256GB storage and 6GB RAM – JPY 89,800
Zenfone 3 Deluxe (ZS550KL) with Snapdragon 625, 64GB storage and 4GB RAM – JPY 55,800
Zenfone 3 (ZE520KL) with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage – JPY 39,800
So there is no 5.5-inch Zenfone 3 (ZE552KL) as part of the launch in Japan. The lesser 5.5-inch Zenfone 3 Deluxe (ZS550KL) is perhaps a suitable replacement for the ZE552KL and that is what Asus decided to go with.
